Speakers at APHC-AJK seminar pay tributes to Sept 1965 martyrs

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of September 6, 1965 saying these martyrs laid their lives for a greater cause and their bravery and courage is part of the glorious chapter of Pakistan’s history.
The APHC-AJK organized a seminar in Islamabad to remember the martyrs on Pakistan’s Defense Day, today. The event was chaired by Mustafa Mohammad Hussain Khateeb.
The speakers on the occasion thanked Pakistan for its moral, political, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmir cause and prayed for the prosperity and stability of Pakistan. They said strong Pakistan is the guarantee to the freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The speakers added that Indian continued firing on the Line of Control, interference in the internal matters of regional countries and continued human rights violations in Kashmir are enough to establish the Indian expansionist designs in the region, which if not stopped could lead to a nuclear war.
They strongly condemned the atrocities perpetrated by the Indian occupational forces on people of Jammu and Kashmir and pledged that struggle for the implementation of UN resolutions would continue against all odds.
Those who attended and spoke in the seminar included: Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Hassan Bana, Nisar Mirza, Mrs Shamim Shawal, Haji Sultan Butt, Javaid Iqbal Butt, Nazir Ahmed Karnai, Dawood Yousuf Zai, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Mohammad Shafi Dar Abdul Majeed Malik, Raja Khadim Hussaan Mushtaq Ahmad Butt Zahid Safi, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Syed Mustaq, Main Muzaffer and lmtiaz Wani.
APHC-AJK Secretary General Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah moderated the seminar. Meanwhile, Vice-Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s league, Zahid Ashraf in a statement condemned the new wave of terrorism unleashed by the occupation regime on the helpless fettered Kashmiris across the occupied territory.—KMS
