Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Sunday said that the solution to 95% problems of Pakistan and all chronic issues of Karachi lies in the PSP’s research-based and well-thought-out six point feasible plan.
He expressed these views while addressing the workers through a social networking site. In which he highlighted the national, international and civic situation and described the narrative of PSP in detail.
If not today, then tomorrow, the only workable roadmap presented by PSP will improve the current situation of Pakistan in years to come, for sure . The longer the rulers implement our proposed solutions, the more damage will be done to Pakistan.
Firstly, the powers vested in the 18th Amendment should be devolved from the Chief Minister’s Houses to the lowest level. Secondly, the issuance of PFC Award in the style of NFC Award should be ensured and made mandatory. 3rd point is, the census of Karachi, the economic juglar of Pakistan, should be recounted fairly, and the number of seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies should be allocated according to the population. Fourthly, Karachi should be restored as one district instead of seven.
Fifthly, the Karachi Master Plan Department should be restored by taking back all powers from the Sindh Building Control Authority and finally the local government affairs of all 18 agencies including KPT Cantonment in Karachi should be given to the mayor’s office while the land authority should remain the subject of the respective egencies.
Meanwhile, Neither the MQM can make a province nor the PPP is saving the motherland, Sindh, but both are befooling people, he said, adding that while Karachi was submerged, the PPP “found a solution to the problems and formed the seventh District”. He questioned if milk streams were flowing in District Malir and District South.
If the PPP offered ministries to the MQM again, they [MQM] would forget the slogan of a new province and be wearing caps and Ajraks.
The PPP benefited the most from the slogan of the province, he said and asked the masses not to abuse each other especially on social media as Sindhis and Mohajirs, about the PPP and MQM’s malicious agenda. Kamal said the PSP would soon issue a white paper against the performance of outgoing local governments.
