The law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) have launched investigations into the social media accounts involved in trolling of the Pakistan Army after the terrorist attack on a training airbase of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in Mianwali. Investigations revealed that 35 out of 100 accounts were being controlled from India while the rest of them belonged to a political party in Pakistan.
These social media accounts of a political party retweeted the tweets of Indian accounts with a plan. All the accounts continuously trolled the Pakistan Army and related institutions. Old images from Indian accounts were uploaded and linked to recent events. The LEAs have compiled a list of all accounts.
