In a significant breakthrough, the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore has arrested a ringleader of a woman trafficker who was involved in sending women to Oman under the pretext of providing them with attractive jobs in beauty parlors. However, the victims were later forced into dancing and subjected to sexual harassment.

According to media reports on Tuesday, under the directive of Director FIA Lahore Zone Sarfaraz Work, the authorities conducted a raid and apprehended the leader of the gang, who was operating from the Achhra area of Lahore. The accused woman, whose modus operandi involved luring unsuspecting women with promises of employment, has been identified.

Initial investigations revealed that the woman would lure simple women by offering them jobs in beauty parlors in Oman. However, upon reaching their destination, the victims were forced into dancing and subjected to sexual harassment.

During the raid, the authorities recovered several passports and travel documents from the accused woman’s possession. She has been arrested, and a thorough investigation is underway to uncover the extent of her involvement in human trafficking activities.

It is noteworthy that the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore has demonstrated remarkable diligence in combating human trafficking, arresting over 267 traffickers this year. Among those apprehended are six individuals listed in the Red Book as most wanted human traffickers. These arrests have significantly disrupted the operations of human trafficking networks and provided protection to potential victims.
