PPP Senator Sherry Rehman who belongs to Kara-chi tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. Ac-cording to reports, the Covid-19 test of Vice Presi-dent PPP Parliamentarians and Senator Sherry Rehman came out positive on Saturday.

The PPP leader is self-isolating at her home. The megacity of Karachi was experiencing an explosion of Omicron infections as within days the positivity ratio has shot up to over 39 percent Saturday. Only in 24 hours, there was an increase of 6.5 percent in positivity rate. —INP
