Chicken Meat Price in Lahore

As the situation remained worse in Lahore, and other Punjab cities, it is worse in Peshawar and other cities of KP.

This price hike comes amid increased demand and a rise in the consumption of other meats. Local traders report that live chicken meat now costs Rs490 per kg, with broiler chicken meat increasing by around Rs100 per kg recently.

The sharp rise in meat price stemmed to increase in cost of feed, chicks, and electricity, which significantly impacted overall cost of poultry farming. Mutton, and beef are already going out of reach for the salaried people after back-breaking inflation.
