The Supreme Court on Thursday issued a written order on the May 2 hearing of a case against the Practice and Procedure Act.
“Notices are issued to respondents including political parties. Proceedings of the joint session of the Parliament related to the Act should be presented,” the written order read.
“The record of the discussion held in the Standing Committee regarding the making of the Act should also be submitted. The Supreme Court’s stay order on the Practice and Procedure Act will remain in force,” it added.
