Sarwar in Hungary for talks on GSP+ status

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Friday reached Hungary from Belgium as part of his efforts to win extension in GSP + status for Pakistan.

Pakistan’s ambassador to Hungary Ijaz Ahmad and Hungary’s foreign office officials welcomed the governor at the airport. Sarwar during his stay in Hungary will meet with different government officials as well as members of the parliament.

The Punjab governor will also call on Member of European Parliament Erno Scholar Bairus. He will also meet with State Secretary at the Prime Minister’s House.

Sarwar will also hold a meeting with Minister of Prime Minister Office George Le Galwaz.
He will brief the Hungarian dignitaries about Pakistan’s standpoint on GSP + status as well as other matters.

Relations between the two countries will also come under discussion at the meeting. The Punjab governor will then head to Italy where he is scheduled to meet members of the parliament.
