Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that the firing of Pakistan PML-N leader’s guard led to the death of two citizens during by-election in Daska.
Addressing a press conference in Daska on Friday, she said that the PML-N leadership tried to sabotage the electoral process, adding that those who were empowered by the law were busy benefiting the PML-N.
The SAPM said that an army of royal family held the constituencies hostage in Daska, while the workers were harassed outside the polling stations.
She blamed the PML-N for the ugly incident and said that the law will take its course to bring the culprits to the book.
