Two children were injured after they were stabbed with a knife by robbers in Karachi’s Old Haji Camp Saturday afternoon.
“When the robbers broke into the house, the children started screaming after which they brutally stabbed them in their stomachs,” a rescue official said.
The children have been shifted to a hospital. According to the doctors, they are in critical condition. The police have started investigations to arrest the robbers. It is to mention that unknown robbers killed a young man during a dacoity incident in Soldier Bazar area last month. The deceased and his sister were on their way when armed robbers intercepted them at Soldier Bazar and attempted to snatch Rs 0.1 million.
When the deceased man showed resistance, the robbers opened fire on him and fled the scene by looting valuables including the money.
On the other hand, the deceased sister claimed that police was present at some distance but didn’t came for help.
