One robber was killed while his accomplice managed to flee after an encounter that took place in Shalimar area of provincial capital Lahore.
According to details, the exchange of fire took place when police came across a gang of robbers fleeing after committing robbery on Monday-Tuesday midnight. In cross firing, one robber later identified as Shehzad was killed while his cohort managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.
The killed robber and his fled accomplice had snatched motorcycle and cash from a citizen the other day and also wanted by police in various criminal cases.
