Road safety topic to be included in syllabus

Sector Commander National Highways and Motorway Police, SP Javed Iqbal Chadhar said that road safety topic was being made part of syllabus from nursery to intermediate.
Addressing the three-day road safety seminar organized by motorway police M-5 and BSL transport company here on Sunday, SP Javed Iqbal Chadhar said that an MoU has already been signed between Ministry of Education and Motorway police recently in which Federal Minister for Education and Inspector General Motorway police Syed Kaleem Imam were participated.
He said that it has been decided to make road safety topic a part of syllabus from nursery class to intermediate. He said that motorway police and education ministry have completed all arrangements for this purpose. Chadhar said that the step would help decrease road accidents. He urged masses to follow traffic rules in order to save themselves and livers of others.
DSP Zargham Atta Baloch delivered lecture on safety measures while travelling on road. The drivers were also given reflecting jackets and first aid boxes during the seminar.
