The “Player of the Tournament” had already earned plaudits for his loveable personality and humbleness from the Qalandar’s captain.

Rizwan later addressed his team’s loss by declaring Shaheen Afridi’s win as his win.

Rizwan’s act tugged on the heartstrings of many cricketing fans around the world who sang praises for his character even after a tough loss in the PSL final.

PSL Final was not the hotly contested affair many a spectator was hoping for.

Despite being the best side in the tournament, Rizwan’s Multan Sultan’s failed to turn up for the last game.

They were thoroughly outclassed by Lahore, losing by 42 runs.
