Rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto by the People Doctors Forum KP at Abbottabad on the eve of 68th Birthday celebrations of the Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto held at local hotel on Monday.
Function was largely attended by the Peoples Doctors, activists of PPP, Students of Peoples Students Federation, members of the people’s labour wing and others. Birthday cake was also cutted by the Provincial president of PDF Professor Dr. Nisar Khan.
Earlier General Secretary of PDF Dr. Daud in his speech discussed in length role of the Benazir Butto for the survival of thee democracy in the country and job done for the poor segment of the society.
He also highlighted the activities of the PDF for the welfare of the patients and for doctors community and informed that shortly PDF will be holding provincial convention of doctors and health officials to redress the problems and difficulties faced by the patients and doctors and to improve the health care facilities in KPK.
Provincial president of PDF Dr.Nisar Khan while speaking said that BB has shown rare example of bravery despite losing her brothers and father and had followed the footsteps of great leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who was sincere and patriot Pakistani with great vision of fighting for the poor segment of the society against the cruel system of the country which had all the time protected the elite class.
Dr. Nisar while talking about the miserable condition of health delivery system said that on the name of Health Cards, hospitals run by the PTI peoples are given extra benefits.
