Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to help female members achieve excellence in the field of entrepreneurship and improve their networking skills.Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at boosting women empowerment through entrepreneurship.
President RCCI Nadeem Rauf and President WCCI Uzma Shahid signed and exchanged the MOU documents at a ceremony held at the chamber house here on Monday.
Under the agreement, both organizations will provide support and cooperation to facilitate and empower women members with a platform to connect in Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) meetings.
On the occasion, RCCI President Nadeem Rauf said that creating opportunities and empowering women in entrepreneurship had always been the Chamber’s priority. RCCI, he said, being a proactive business facilitation entity, always took the lead for women entrepreneurs to get into the mainstream of the economy.
“We will work together to develop recommendations for the government to accelerate business activities and exports”, he added.
President WCCI Uzma Shahid said that both organisations would make joint efforts to promote Pakistan’s positive image and enhance SMEs, trade, investment, exports, and tourism in the country.
