ISLAMABAD – Utility Stores Corporations’ (USC) Ramzan Relief Package 2024 started on Monday at all Utility stores in the country, as subsidy is being offered on specific commodities.
The government announced Ramzan Relief Package 2024, a week before starting of fasting month that is expected to start in March 12. The primary goal is to pass on relief to lower-income groups amid back-breaking inflation.
The government announced a package every year to ease the burden of increased food consumption and charitable giving that characterizes the holiest month.

Pakistani authorities approved Ramzan Relief Package for consumers registered with Benazir Income Support Programme BISP. Special discounts will be offered to consumers.
To relieve inflation-hit people, the federal government allocated Rs35 billion in the budget for financial year 2023-24 for subsidies on essential items to implement the Prime Minister’s Relief Package.
