LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced relaxation in timings for restaurants in the capital city of Punjab amid holy month of Ramadan 2024.
LHC’s Justice Shahid Karim has allowed the restaurants to open from Iftar to Sehri as they were previously closed by 10 pm.
The high court has issued its written order regarding anti-smog petitions. It also directed the schools to dedicate a day in a week for practical classes, besides summoning report on syllabus.
The government lawyer in its report said that electricity connections had been cut for factories burning tyres.
The high court has also barred the LESCO official from cutting the trees in the city, saying they must inform the PHC prior to cutting any tree.
