Rain-wind-thunderstorm (snow over hills) is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next twelve hours. Hailstorm is also expected at isolated places during the period. However, heavy falls are likely at few places in North East Punjab and Kashmir.
Cold and dry weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country. Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad eleven degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar twelve, Karachi twenty-two, Quetta three, Gilgit five and Murree two degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy with chances of rain-wind-thunderstorm and snow is expected in Srinagar and Baramula, cloudy with chances of rain-wind-thunderstorm and gusty winds in Jammu, cloudy with chances of rain and snow in Leh and Pulwama, cloudy/chances of rain-wind.—APP
