Raas for reopening of schools from April 19th

Provincial Education Minister Murad Rass has announced to start ninth, tenth and intermediate classes in public and private educational institutions from April 19 in 13 districts including Lahore under strict SOPs.

According to details, provincial education minister Murad Rass said in a tweet on social networking site Twitter that the ninth and intermediate classes will be started from April 19.

The ninth and intermediate classes will be held in public and private educational institutions for two days.

Classes will be allowed in 13 districts including Lahore. He further said that educational institutions should strictly implement SOPs.

The other 13 districts include Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rahim Yar Khan, Toba Tek Singh, Sheikhupura and DG Khan.

On the other hand, the Education Department could not issue an explanation on the issue of reopening schools on Mondays and Thursdays in 11 districts, including Lahore, from April 19, which has left teachers in a quandary.

According to the details, the school head did not issue an explanation on how many teachers will come to the school and who will have a holiday.

The school heads called all the teachers to the school due to which the teachers are in trouble.

It should be noted that classes of 9th to 12th classes are starting from Monday. The government has allowed classes to be held two days a week. The school heads have called all the teachers to the school.

The school education department says it will issue a statement on teacher attendance before Monday.
