PTI Int’l Media Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janua gets bail

ISLAMABAD – A Sessions Court in the federal capital on Friday granted post-bail to PTI’s International Media Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua in a case registered under PECA.

Duty Magistrate Abbas Shah heard the post-arrest bail application in the case registered under PECA against PTI International Media Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua.

The judge directed to release him.

The court approved Ahmed Waqas Janjua’s bail against a surety of Rs50,000 and ordered his immediate release.

Just a day before, the Sessions Court in Islamabad had sent PTI International Media Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua to jail on judicial remand in the case registered under PECA.

It may be mentioned here that last month, Islamabad police raided the PTI Secretariat and arrested Ahmed Waqas Janjua while FIA arrested Rauf Hassan for being involved in anti-state propaganda.
