The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) turned bearish on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index shedding 257.06 (-0.54 points) to close at 47,429.12 points.
The market opened on a positive note; however, it turned red soon due to consistent profit booking activity. The Index traded in a range of 364.4 points, showing an intraday high of 47,739.5 and a low of 47,375.1 points.
Among other indices, the KSE All Share Index shed 168.52 points (-0.51 percent) to close at 32,555.72 points, while All Share Islamic Index shed 103.98 points (-0.44 percent) to close at 23,275.51 points.
A total of 380 companies traded shares in the stock exchange, out of them shares of 134 closed up, shares of 238 closed down while shares of 8 companies remained unchanged.
