Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has congratulated Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, Coordinator General, COMSTEC, OIC for Scientific Development, on his nomination for the Mustafa Prize, the biggest award in the Muslim world.

A high award for science and technology. This award is given to top researchers and scientists from the Islamic world in four fields. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry is a world renowned pharmacologist.

Dr. Chaudhry has published 175 research papers, 76 books and 40 chapters in international journals in the fields of organic and bio-organic chemistry.

He has so far obtained 40 US patents. Dr. Chaudhry’s work has been copied 27,407 times by researchers around the world and has an index of 70.

So far, 94 national and international scholars have completed PhD degrees under his supervision.
