Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) and Spokesman of Punjab Government, Hasaan Khawar has said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh Government has nothing to do with ailing people of the province. Patients facing severe hardships in hospitals and death of children in Tharparkar were proof of inefficiency of provincial government.
These views were expressed by him while responding to the media talk of administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, terming it detrimental to the federation.
Hasaan Khawar said that before lifting finger on others, the administrator Karachi should keep in mind the dilapidated Sindh health system and the naya Pakistan national health card is a historic step of the PTI government.
No government could launch such a unique programme as every family in Punjab would get free treatment facilities by March through this scheme, he said adding that the Punjab government has made record corona vaccination and people from every province come to Punjab for treatment.
The SACM said that Punjab has healed the wounds of ailing humanity and it has never claimed to provide medical services to people of other provinces. Punjab has never indulged in itself in parochialism and Murtaza Wahab should remember Punjab was providing better services to patients.
The administrator Karachi has proved that approach of the Sindh government was very limited as the Punjab government under CM Usman Buzdar has always extended cooperation to other provinces, he concluded.
