Major power breakdown at the Dhabeji Pumping Station, caused by a sudden outage from K-Electric, has led to a complete shutdown of the facility. As a result, the pumping operations at the station have come to a halt, temporarily suspending water supply to the city. The power failure has also led to a disruption in water services, with the breakdown causing high water pressure to burst two key pipelines. The affected lines include a 72-inch MS Line No. 5 and a 72-inch RCC Line No. 1. The Water Corporation’s spokesperson reported that the outage has also temporarily halted service at all water hydrants.
