Pakistan Muslim League (PML) and former prime minister President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi have expressed their deep heartfelt sorrow and grief over demise of former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawwar Hassan who breathed his last in Karachi on Friday.
The PML leaders said that Syed Munawwar Hassan had played important role in promoting Jamaat-e-Islami, he was a non-controversial personality.
Senior Minister Aleem Khan while expressing deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hassan said that Munawar Hassan’s religious and services to the country would always be remembered.
He said that Syed Munawar Hassan has an important place in the politics of the country which can never be forgotten.
EPD Minister M. Rizwan has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of former Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hassan. In a condolence message, the minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
He also said that services of Munawar Hassan for the peace will always be remembered and the gap of such persons cannot be filled.
