Race Course police on Saturday registered a case against Jahangir Tareen Group MPA Nazir Chauhan at the request of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Accountability and Home Adviser Shehzad Akbar.
Special Assistant for Accountability Shehzad Akbar had on May 20 applied for registration of a case in the police station concerned.
A case has been registered against Jahangir Tareen Group MPA Nazir Chauhan at the request of Home Advisor Shehzad Akbar, in which he has accused Nazir Chauhan of appearing in a private TV program and making false accusations against him.
He claimed that allegations have created life threat for him, a case should be registered against Nazir Chauhan.
Reacting upon the FIR PTI leader Nazir Chauhan asked police nto to search for him, he will appear before police himslef.
“I am coming to Data Darbar, let the police arrest me”. He claimed that allegations have created life threat for him, a case should be registered against Nazir Chauhan.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said in his message on the social networking site Twitter that using religious cards for personal revenge is reprehensible.
Lahore police will have to take stern action against MPA Nazir Chauhan for using a third-rate tactic against Shehzad Akbar.
He further said that Shahzad Akbar was discharging his responsibilities in an efficient manner.
