LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have agreed to continue their political cooperation.
They reached agreement for cooperation during important round of talks for power sharing on Monday night.
A coordination committee meeting was held in Lahore between PML-N and PPP representatives. PPP was represented by Hasan Murtaza, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Haider Gilani, while Punjab Chief Minister was represented by Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb.
The PPP leaders appreciated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s efforts for the development of the public.
The leaders stated that cooperation would be extended in providing solar systems to the public, addressing climate challenges, maintaining law and order and promoting IT.
On this occasion, Ali Haider Gilani expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and PML-N for agreeing on the public relief formula, emphasizing that the public would benefit from the coalition government’s efforts only by overcoming obstacles and moving forward.
Besides it, Maryam Aurangzeb stated that the policy of working together with coalition partners would be adhered to while Hasan Murtaza mentioned that having a difference of opinion is a fundamental right, but they agree on jointly resolving public issues.
