Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will raise nation’s sentiments over Kashmir issue, Indian war hysteria and overall regional issues at the United Nations General Assembly session. He said that a historic “International Sikh Convention” is to take place at Governor House on August 31.
Speaking during a meeting with a delegation led by Provincial Minister for Minorities Affair Ijaz Alam and ex-MNA Raza Hayat Haraj which called on him here on Sunday, Ch Sarwar said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the biggest threat for peace and minorities in the region. Even after 21 days Indian army of eight hundred thousand is not brave enough and courage to end curfew in Kashmir, he added.
He said that as India cannot compete with the conviction of Kashmiris, Modi is not even allowing its own opposition parties to visit Kashmir which proves his cowardliness but no power in the world can suppress the voice of Kashmiris now.
The Governor Punjab said that the news of formal opening of Kartarpar Corridor took India by shock and there is ample doubt that Indian might try to sabotage the inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor project but under the leadership of Imran Khan, Pakistan has already failed Indian conspiracies and even now we will not let India succeed under any circumstances, he reaffirmed.
He said that In India, no minority including Muslims and Sikhs is safe, as the person responsible for Muslim massacre in Gujrat (Modi) and his allies have made life difficult for minorities residing in India but in Pakistan under the vision of Quaid e Azam we are ensuring safety of their lives and property and also providing them with every basic need.
Ch Sarwar said that because of successful policies of PTI government and due to confidence on Prime Minister Imran Khan, one million 36 thousand people were added in the tax payers base and InshAllah that day is not far enough when we will eradicate crises like corruption, inflation and unemployment from the country, root and stem and will deliver on our promise to take country out of all crises.—INP
