Deputy Chief Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Liaqat Baloch has held the prime minister responsible for the controversy emerged regarding handing back to New Delhi the captured pilot of Indian air force in March last year. In a statement issued from Mansoora on Wednesday, he said entire nation had then expressed concerns over the haste displayed by the government to free Abhinandon whose plane was shot down by the brave pilots of the Pakistan Air Force on violation of the Pakistan airspace.
Baloch said the government was playing a dangerous game to start a clash between opposition parties and state institutions, without realization that the ultimate loser of this game would be the government itself and the democracy. The JI Deputy Chief suggested the rulers to pay attention to the problems of the people and develop plan to bring the country out of present crises without wasting time on other things.—INP
