Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday. During the meeting, the Governor commended the Prime Minister for pursuing business-friendly policies and increasing the volume of foreign investment in the country.
Matters pertaining to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and their pragmatic solutions also came under discussion. Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah were present on the occasion.
In the meeting, the problems of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and their sustainable solutions were also discussed. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs RanaSanaullah also participated in the meeting. Speaking to the media outside the Prime Minister’s House after the meeting, Governor Faisal KarimKundi said that he had discussed the problems of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also discussed the problem of gas and electricity load shedding in the province and has asked the Prime Minister to further reduce the load shedding period.
The Governor said that he had a detailed discussion with the Prime Minister regarding the tax of FATA and PATA. The tax issue of FATA and PATA was placed before the Prime Minister, on which the Prime Minister has assured me that the concerns of the people of FATA.
