PM Kakar to visit China next week

Interim Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar will visit China next week. Sources informed that PM Kakar will leave for China on October 16.

It is expected that 15 important agreements and MoUs to be launched under the CPEC project will be signed during his visit.

The interim prime minister will participate in the 3rd Forum of Belt and Road Initiative Project on October 17-18.
During the prime minister’s visit, the ML-1 Railway project worth $6.67 billion will be signed.

Under the ML-1 project, the speed of the railcar has been reduced from 160km/h to 120km/h.
China has agreed to sign the amended agreement of the railway project.

The agreements regarding protocol for the export of donkeys’ skin, dairy products, and meat export will also be signed. Besides this, agreements regarding advance metering infrastructure, Pakistan Space Centre and urban development of Gwadar under the CPEC will be initialed.
