President Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) Sheikh Umer Rehan, Senior Vice President Muhammad Ikram Rajput, 1 Vice President Syed Wajid Hussain, Deputy Commissioner Shaharyar Memon and Head of KATI’s Standing committee on tree plantation Junaid Naqi inaugurated Plantation drive in the Malir River Area on Korangi Crossing.
On this occasion President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan said that KATI has established a great collaboration and resolved to promote tree planting on every level.
He also applauded that initiatives taken by CM Sind Murad Ali Shah for the garbage collection and environment protection of Karachi and assured any possible collaboration for the betterment of the city. He said that patron in chief of the association SM Muneer also patronizing PM’s Green Pakistan Program and announced to plant at least 100 million trees all over the country.
He said that we are following his vision for this great national cause. Umer Rehan said that business community always ready to support government initiatives for the betterment of city at any level. He further said that during plantation drive in the city the indigenous plants should be promoted.
Junaid Naqi said that KATI has planted 100 thousand trees in industrial area which was great success. He also appreciated the collaboration of DC Korangi during the plantation drive.
