PICG launches survey report ‘Corporate Governance’ today

Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance will be launching its Survey Report on “Corporate Governance Practices in Pakistan”. The event is scheduled on Thursday (12th December, 2019).
The study is a follow up to the previous survey on the topic conducted in 2016. It aims to obtain a better understanding of the current state of board practices in Pakistan, the needs and challenges faced by boards with regard to corporate governance and to provide valuable insights to identify possible areas of improvement.
The Chairman Policy Board SECP, Mr. Khalid Mirza and Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan Mr. Jameel Ahmad will be the chief guests at the event.
The event would be attended by members of PICG board, faculty and members of the organization and would include a panel discussion to launch the survey. The survey launch would be followed by a celebratory lunch to coincide with PICGs 15 year anniversary.
