Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan Furni-ture Council (PFC), Mian Kashif Ashfaq has said that the PFC is all set to participate in Dubai expo 2021 commencing from Oct 5 to display world class handcrafted vast range of furniture to attract buyers and investors besides exploring foreign markets.
Talking to a delegation of furniture exporters led by Chaudhary Muhammad Ashfaq Kamboh Kasuri which called on him here on Sunday, he said that the UAE furniture market is expected to reach around AED 11000 million in terms of revenue by next year.
Kashif said although PFC will face sub-stantial competition not only from unorganized sector but also from organized furniture markets however PFC try to capture some of its share by showing top class widest collection of luxury brands of Pak handmade furniture suitable to every clients personality.
He said rise in number of online market players catering to the demand for wood products and ac-cessories is also expected to have an impact on fur-niture markets.
He said expo will also provide op-portunities to young designers and architects to study the new trends of market in furniture industry.
The CEO PFC said that the Council firmly be-lieved in Pakistan’s economic potential and invest-ment opportunities. PFC will continue to work to-wards a sustained economic .
