PML-N President to appear before NAB today

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has termed the shortage of petroleum products in the country as failure of the government.
Reacting upon the situation he said that people are facing problems and the government should sit down with the petroleum companies and come up with an immediate solution.
He said that government has repeated the same mistake with the petroleum sector as they did with the country’s economy, Gas and US dollar rates.
The PML-N president said that at the time when people should be in compliance with the SOPs in maintaining social distancing to curb the spread of coronavirus, the shortage of petrol has caused crowds at the petrol stations.
He said that despite the historic decline in the prices of petroleum products, the government has not been able to provide relief to the people.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the Prime Minister has urged the private companies to pass on the benefit of reduced oil prices to the people but he himself has not acted on it. Why the benefit of the historic reduced oil prices has not been passed on to the people by reduction in electricity and gas prices, he added.
President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif has decided to appear before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on June 9.
According to reports Shehbaz Sharif took this decision after consulting his legal team. NAB had summoned Shehbaz Sharif in assets beyond means and money laundering case.
Earlier, Lahore High Court (LHC) granted interim bail to Opposition Leader of National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif till June 17 and barred NAB from arresting him.
Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has decided to appear before NAB
tomorrow (Tuesday) in assets case.The PML-N President has completed consultations with his lawyers and party leaders.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) president was summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to appear before NAB Lahore office on June 9 with regards to the ongoing assets beyond means and money laundering inquiries against him.
