ISLAMABAD – Petrol prices in Pakistan will be revised by the federal government on the December 31 night for the first month of January of New Year 2025.
Reports claimed that the PML-N led government in likely to decrease the petrol prices and jack up the diesel price for first half of January 2025.

Current and latest petrol price in Pakistan stands at Rs252.10 per litre while high speed diesel is being sold for Rs255.38/Ltr.
Similarly, the light speed diesel is available for Rs148.95 and kerosene oil for Rs161.46 per litre.
Expected Petrol Prices in Pakistan from January 2025
Reports said the government is expected to decrease the petrol price by up to Rs2 per litre in Pakistan, fixing the new rate at Rs250.20.
The diesel price is expected to surge by Rs3.62 per litre with new price reaching Rs259. The price of light speed diesel is expected to surge to Rs151.97 per litre after an increase of Rs3.03.
The new rates, which will be announced by government on December 31, will come into effect from January 1, 2025 till January 15, 2025.
