QUETTA – The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced new schedule for intermediate exams 2025 for unannounced reasons.
The board chairman, in a statement, said the exams were postponed for three weeks, adding that they will begin from May 2, 2025.
On April 21, the Balochistan board had announced the postponement of Intermediate examinations, which were scheduled to begin on April 22, by three weeks due to unavoidable circumstances
An official notification had stated that the Intermediate (FA/FSc) examinations will be rescheduled, with new dates to be announced soon.
Board officials had stated that the decision was made in light of unforeseen administrative reasons.
Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has also announced the postponement of the annual intermediate examinations, which were scheduled to begin on April 28.
The exams will now start from May 5.
The decision was made in line with the directives from the board chairman, citing two key reasons for the delay.
Firstly, the process of awarding grace marks in mathematics, chemistry, and physics subjects for the 2024 first-year science pre-medical, pre-engineering, and general science groups is underway.
Secondly, several examination centres are still occupied due to matriculation exams that will end on May 8.
