PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted scattered light rains for Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday and Wednesday.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday night. On Tuesday and Wednesday, partly cloudy weather with light rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Dera Ismail Khan, Waziristan, Kurrum, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Peshawar and Manshera.
Peshawar’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 30-32 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most parts of the province during the last 24 hours.
Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu and Peshawar remained the hottest places in the province where temperature reached 32 C. In the evening, relative humidity in Dera Ismal Khan, Bannu and Peshawar was recorded at 28 per cent, 54 per cent and 21 per cent respectively.
