LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to announce the complete schedule for the upcoming three-match Test series against England within the next couple of days.

As anticipation builds for the series, uncertainty looms over the fitness of England’s captain, Ben Stokes. Stokes, who suffered a hamstring injury in early August, has been named in the 17-member squad for the Pakistan tour, despite not being fully recovered. He is scheduled to undergo a scan next week to evaluate his readiness for the first Test, which is slated to begin on October 7.

The PCB selected Multan and Rawalpindi as the venues for the Test matches, with plans to host the first two Tests in Multan. Karachi was excluded due to ongoing construction work at the venue.

While the official schedule is still pending confirmation, the PCB aims to take advantage of the playing conditions in Multan.

Alternatively, there is a possibility that the first and third Tests could be played in Rawalpindi.
