According to police reports, armed robbers were in the process of looting two salesmen near Qatar Hospital when law enforcement officers intervened, triggering an exchange of gunfire.
Tragically, amidst the chaos, a woman passing by was struck by a bullet and later succumbed to her injuries. While the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West asserted that the woman was not a victim of crossfire, the victim’s husband recounted a harrowing ordeal.
He described how the robbers suddenly appeared, shooting indiscriminately, leading to his wife’s fatal injury. Despite police intervention, the perpetrators managed to flee the scene.
