Sharjeel meets British diplomats to boost bilateral relations

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon held a significant meeting with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mony in Karachi, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between the UK and Sindh province.

The meeting underscored mutual interest in enhancing cooperation across various sectors and solidifying the partnership between both nations.

Minister Memon briefed the British delegation on the performance of the Sindh government, highlighting its achievements and ongoing projects. In turn, the British diplomats acknowledged the efforts of the Sindh government in promoting public welfare and development initiatives.

They also commended the special pink bus service introduced for women in Sindh. Minister Memon expressed Sindh government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investors, particularly in the transportation sector.

He emphasized Pakistan’s favorable investment climate and urged foreign investors to explore opportunities in the country, assuring them of full support from the Sindh government. Furthermore, Minister Memon extended traditional Sindhi hospitality to the esteemed guests by presenting them with Sindhi Ajrak and topi (traditional cap).
