KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reached $13,373.7 million as of April 12, 2024.
As per the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, foreign reserves held by the central bank sttod at $8,054.7 million. Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5,319 million as of April 12, 2024.
During the week ended on April 12, 2024, SBP’s reserves increased by $14.4 million to $8,054.7 million. During the week, SBP has executed the repayment of $1 billion maturing Pakistan’s International Bond (principal plus interest).
