Pakistan’s exports of goods and services to United Kingdom (UK) has witnessed an increase of 6.36 percent during the eight months of financial year (2020-21) compared to the corresponding period of last year, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported.
The overall exports to UK were recorded at $1308.430 million during July-February (2020-21) against exports of $1141.794 million during July-February (2019-20), showing growth of 14.59 percent, SBP data revealed.
Meanwhile, on year-to-year basis, the exports to UK during February 2021 also increased by 26.09 percent, from $137.289 million against the exports of $173.120 million.
On month-on-month basis, the exports to UK however decreased by 3.77 percent during February 2021 when compared to the exports of $178.794 million in January 2021, the SBP data revealed.—APP
