PARIS – Jehanara Nabi and Ahmed Durrani, the Pakistani swimmers, showed poor performance at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Both the players failed to progress to the next rounds in their respective events.

Jehanara Nabi also had an unfortunate end in the women’s 200-meter freestyle event, finishing 26th out of 30 swimmers. She was unable to reach the top 16, finishing third in her heat among seven swimmers.

In the men’s 200-meter freestyle, Durrani finished last in his heat, recording a time of 1 minute and 58.67 seconds. He fell short of his personal best of 1 minute and 55 seconds, placing 25th out of 25 swimmers and 11 seconds behind the last qualifier for the semifinals.

Earlier, shooters Kishmala Talat and Gulfam Joseph could not show performance at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Kishmala also did not advance to the final round in the 10-meter air pistol event, scoring 567 points across six series.

Joseph, competing in the 10-meter air pistol event, finished 22nd out of 33 shooters with a score of 571 points out of 600, failing to qualify for the final round.

Both Kishmala and Joseph will compete in the mixed-team event on July 29.
