LAHORE – As Eid-ul-Azha 2024 approaches, Pakistan braces for hot weather, though the Meteorological Department forecasts possible relief with rain showers shortly after the celebrations.

The prospect of rain and an early monsoon season offers hope for cooler weather and relief for Pakistanis amid high temperatures during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

HEAT AND MONSOON SEASON

Looking ahead, late June may see two episodes of rainfall across the country, indicating an early onset of the monsoon season that could bring relief from the intense heat.

An official from Meteorological department also shared the details, saying that sweltering conditions are expected on Eid days.

He said that rain showers would follow soon after which would bring some respite for the people.
