ISLAMABAD – The federal government has approved an increase of up to Rs8.82 per litre in the prices of petroleum products for the first half of October 2021.
According to notification, petrol price has been hiked by Rs4 to Rs127.3 per litre while the price of high speed diesel has surged to Rs122.04 after an increase of Rs2/litre.
The government has raised kerosene oil price by Rs7.05 to Rs99.31 per litre and the price of light speed diesel by Rs8.82 to Rs99.51 per litre.
The official notification states the decision has been made due to an increase in petroleum prices in the international market and exchange rate variations in the last fortnight.
