Islamabad: Technical-level talks between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) kick-started at the finance ministry on Tuesday for the revival of the much-delayed ninth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) between Islamabad and the global lender.
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar is leading the Pakistani side, while IMF’s review mission is being headed by Nathan Porter as the cash-strapped nation launches renewed efforts to complete the pending ninth review.
