The first Broshski conference was held to keep alive the language that was becoming extinct over time.
The main purpose of holding the first Broshski Conference is to work for the development and promotion of our language like the Aalimi Urdu Conference.
We have learned this language from our forefathers, and we are serving to keep this conference alive.
Well-known journalist and lecturer Minhaj Moosavi expressed his views while addressing the first Broshski Conference Auditorium II, organised jointly by the Gilgit-Baltistan Literary Forum and the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
He said that in the past, people were known only because of their regional languages, and literature and cultural events in the Broshski language have decreased, for which we are grateful to the President of the Arts Council, Muhammad Ahmad Shah, who founded the first Broshski conference. I helped us, and our hard work paid off.
It is not possible to describe in words the services rendered by Ahmad Shah for Urdu as well as for all major and minor languages.Dr. Muhammad Issa, Head of the Department of Linguistics at Skardu University, said that the foundation of the Broshski Conference is an important task.
