Orphan teenage girl gang raped, culprits held

Three accused gang raped a teenage orphan girl here on Monday. Police arrested the culprits during a raid.

DPO Imran Kishawar said that a 12-year-old orphan girl whose mother is also disabled used to earn livelihood for her family by working in agriculture fields.

He said that accused Ali took the girl to agriculture fields in the name of labour where he along with his accomplices Zulfiqar and Usman gang raped the teenager.

The police on complaint of girl, through geo-fencing traced, arrested the culprits who were using their political reference for settlement of dispute.—INP
