Orientation session focuses on ensuring quality education standards

In a significant stride towards ensuring high-quality education standards, the Secretary of the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE), Dr Khalid Mahmood, led an orientation session at the University of Okara’s Faculty of Education.

The event, organized by the Head, Department of Educational Studies, Dr Syed Abdul Waheed, was aimed to provide crucial insights and guidance on the preparation of accreditation documents for various departments within the Faculty of Education.

The orientation session drew faculty members, administrators, and accreditation coordinators from the faculty. Dr Khalid, an esteemed expert in education accreditation, commenced the session by highlighting the importance of accreditation in maintaining and enhancing the quality of teacher education programs.

“Accreditation is a vital step in ensuring that teacher education programs meet established standards of excellence,” Dr Khalid stated. “It is not only a testament to the quality of education provided but also a crucial element in the university’s reputation and the future of its graduates.”
